Actualization of the tasks of modern humanities education includes the development of aesthetic
vision among students using pictorial methods. This material presents a unique technique based on
visual association, which contributes to the formation of students' skills in analyzing artistic creations,
aesthetic perception, creative thinking and emotional comprehension. The most important aspects of
aesthetic vision formation are the integration of visual inspection, individual interpretation, and
cultural and historical background.
As part of the educational research, the methodology was tested in three Kazakhstani secondary
educational institutions. The study involved 120 sixth grade students, divided into control and
experimental groups. For three months, the participants studied the paintings using unique methods
of interpretation: visual analogies, emotional reactions, dialogues about the symbolism and palette of
the works. Information was collected through surveys, evaluative judgments of specialists,
questionnaires and personal notes of students.
The students of the experimental group demonstrated significant progress in the field of visual
perception, the enrichment of vocabulary in artistic description, increased emotional resonance and a
stable interest in art. The technique has demonstrated its effectiveness in comparison with traditional
approaches, stimulating personal perception of works of art and enriching the aesthetic thinking of
students.
The authors conclude that painting can and should be used in the school curriculum to develop
students' aesthetic vision. This methodology can be adapted for widespread use in the educational
field, considering national peculiarities and the specifics of digital education.
